I am speaking about football prior to 1915 at the Mansion House, Dublin this Thursday when the life of Patrick O'Connell will be commemorated and will be followed the following day by the unveiling of a plaque to the former Ireland football captain and later Barcelona manager:- for more details go to:-

Also on 6 August a giant mural to Patrick by be unveiled in Belfast and in September his grave in North London will be rededicated.
